One-Day Forest Meditation Retreat

The retreat takes place in a 30 acre estate in the heart of the Forest of Dean.  The land is a mixture of ancient woodland and wildflower filled pastures with far reaching views across the Forest and the twisting River Severn.

The estate is home to boar, wild ponies, cattle and a host of birds and butterflies.  At the heart of the estate is a Victorian manor house which has ample space for large groups including rest and dining space.  It is packed with rustic charm and the reminders of an elegant past.

Expect to be immersed in the natural environment around you.  You will be invited to connect to yourself, each other, and to the space you are in.

The day will be delivered by meditation tutor Caz Jaine, who will invite you to switch off your phones, and spend the day learning about the different approaches to meditation: focus-based or mindfulness; mantra-based; and compassion based, before going on to practice seated, standing and walking meditations. There will be some time spent in silent retreat and individual contemplation as well as group exercises.
